Sino-swissnex Center Guangdong

The Sino-swissnex Center, funded by Guandong University of Technology (GDUT) and University of Applied Sciences of Southern Switzerland (SUPSI) opened its doors in November 2009 and began its operations fully in January 2010. The Sino-swissnex China Center leads project and organizes visits to industrial and research institutions to facilitate the exchange of knowledge between scholars and business people from Switzerland and China.

Projects at the Sino-swissnex Center Guangdong:

The project objective is to develop the design, production, and implementation of a decentralized water treatment system. In view of massive environmental challenges, water treatment solutions request flexibility, should be adaptive, and have effectiveness for a range of waste water types and volumes. HydroNET implements a modular systems approach to create a network of smaller, localized, interlinked and waste-specific purification plants by using space saving air flotation technology, and advanced IT solution for real-time, remote management.
