Dacuda PocketScan project successfully funded on Kickstarter
After 30 days on the crowdfunding platform Kickstarter, Dacuda’s campaign ended on July 16 with a great success. PocketScan, the world’s smallest and smartest wireless scanner, were pledged by 4,586 backers from over 67 countries and a funding of $542,732 has been raised, which is 1085% over initial goal with 3 stretch goals achieved.
As the 3rd stretch goal, PocketScan will now also include an integrated Text-to-Speech (TTS) Mode when being shipped this winter. The TTS Mode offers a wide range of useful applications for dyslexic, visually impaired and blind people.
