For the second consecutive year, swissnex China in collaboration with the Consulate General Switzerland in Shanghai are organizing the “Escalade”. For those of you who did not attend last year; the “Escalade” is a major cultural event from Geneva that is held every year in December. The purpose of the night is to celebrate the victory of Geneva over the Savoy County in a battle that took place in 1602.
This year’s event will be held on 11th December, once again, at Geneva Restaurant. Come join us to know more about a 400 years old tradition, and to enjoy a pleasant night with our growing community. Many activities will be held throughout the night, such as the Escalade Run, the traditional Escalade songs, and, last but not least, the breaking (and eating) of the Chocolate Marmite!
