It’s In The Cloud!

Over the years the amount of data became bigger and bigger, and with the seemingly unlimited use of social media and social networking, various online services and applications, searches and more tools we use on a daily basis for work or for private projects, users had become more demanding and required a setup apart from an individual desktop, laptop or server.Creative minds of PARSA Parallel Systems Architecture Lab from EPFL accepted the challenge and created CloudSuite, a benchmark suite based on real-world online services, which covers a broad range of application categories commonly found in today’s datacenters. Furthermore EcoCloud, a Center for Sustainable Cloud Computing at EPFL, drives innovation in sustainable cloud computing technologies and aims to address the IT challenges which affect us all.Young Talents from EPFLcurious and venturous, and ready to apply and share their knowledge, can be a key to success for the industry! Focusing on long-term collaborations, which shall include visiting scholar programs, fellowships, partnered research grants, internships and more; EPFL aims to play a proactive role on its strong emphasis on industry collaboration and technology transfer.
