Le mardi 8 octobre 2019, la Section romande de la Société Suisse-Chine, avec le soutien de l’Institut Confucius de l’Université de Genève et de swissnex China, ainsi que la collaboration du Département d’études est-asiatiques, l’association Alumni UNIGE, et le Réseau ALUMNIL de l’Université de Lausanne, organisent une soirée des alumni suisses romands en Chine.

Cet événement a pour objectif de célébrer les échanges académiques entre la Suisse et la Chine. A cette occasion, toutes les personnes ayant effectué un séjour d’études en Chine sont invitées à partager leur expérience et leurs souvenirs autour d’un buffet gastronomique.

Nous aurons l’occasion d’écouter Mme Estelle Niklès van Osselt, docteur ès lettres, sinologue, historienne d’art spécialiste des arts de l’Extrême-Orient, conservatrice à la fondation Baur de Genève qui nous parlera de ses études d’art et d’archéologie en Chine.

L’Institut Confucius de l’Université de Genève est situé à Chambésy, au 266 route de Lausanne. La magnifique villa Rive-Belle, bâtisse du 19ème siècle qui abrite cette structure depuis 2011, fait face au lac Léman et sera le lieu de cette rencontre.

Biowatch is a user-friendly wrist veins biometric reader that functions as a security solution for mobile payment protection and smart device interaction. Users can access the app for enrolling their vein pattern and selecting applications and devices that need to be connected to their Biowatch, wear their BioWatch and activate it by matching their vein pattern with their enrolled reference, get PKI encrypted user code transmitted from their Biowatch, and start opening doors without the use of keys and passwords.



Kenzen creates personal health wearables to support its users in all dimensions of health, including wellness, activities, 3D motion, and performance. The company provides its clients with a variety of personal health monitors that report data in real time to smartphone devices. Through its data, Kenzen aims to enable individuals to make critical decisions in training and competitions. Its primary product, Kenzen ECHO, is a small, flexible patch that helps its users understand their physiology, and get personalized health insights and notifications to help improve performance, recovery, and prevent injury.

Urban Farmers

UrbanFarmers Ltd. is a Switzerland-based technology company building commercial food production units in cities. The company develops and operates farms with its proprietary software system allowing commercial decentralized farming at low cost. Established in 2011, UrbanFarmers is attracting global attention with its vision to build rooftop farms. swissnex China is supporting World VR Forum (WVRF) in organizing an amazing Virtual Reality event at West Bund, Shanghai, in collaboration with Pro Helvetia Shanghai. WVRF takes VR out of the technology scene and shows the power of Virtual Reality as accessible and quality entertainment media.  The well-curated show brings world-class of works of art to the daily lives of Shanghainese from 1st to 15th October 2017.

The media preview and grand opening of this event is on 30th September 2017. It is an honor to invite Chinese media, VR players and featured artists to join this incredible ceremony.

Public & Professional Week

The event to the public is between 1st and 15th October 2017 from 10am to 5pm every day. Professional week is between 9th to 15th October 2017, featuring events with VR industrial partners.


There will be four VR installations, one Gaming Zone, one VR Cinema in this event and public workshops and talks.
