Lecture:Political Participation & Social Responsibility

On September 9, the Art Science Society lecture is dedicated to Political Participation & Social Responsibility. We are living in a time of big changes in the political, social and economical environment. Every individual has to decide for itself how deep he or her wants to get involved and participate within his society. How does the political system and process work in Switzerland? Which possibilities do individuals have to participate in politics? Further we will have a look at the online political participation possibilities within China.

The distinguished guest speakers are Prof. Hanspeter Kriesi from University of Zurich, currently leading the Swiss national research program on the “Challenges to Democracy in the 21st Century” (NCCR) and Prof. Liu Jianjun, Vice Dean of School of International Relations and Public Affairs, Fudan University.
