CHANGNING DISTRICT ORCHESTRA

The city is a symphony. This three-channeled allegorical installation features Shanghai’s migrant recyclers and their musical calls that form the sound track of the city. A TV journalist, broken hearted lover, and homeless couple compose the fabric of this bustling metropolis and help to expose the colorful contradictions of Shanghai’s contemporary urbanity.
