Switzerland is a tiny, landlocked country with scarce natural resources, yet it is now one of the most successful countries in the world of manufacturing. China is one of the world’s oldest civilizations, which is now rising at a speed that no one has ever seen. While “Swiss Made” is a symbol of quality and even luxury, “Made in China” is much more controversial.

What will happen when “Swiss Made” meets “Made in China”? Will “Made in China” become the next miracle of the manufacturing industry, just like “Swiss Made”? Or will “Swiss Made” gain new inspirations from “Made in China”?

To answer these questions, swissnex China, together with Swiss Cham, Shanghai Swiss Center and Newhuadu Business School (NBS) are happy to invite three speakers, including the author of the book Swiss Made: The Untold Story behind Switzerland’s Success, to share with us their understanding of “Swiss Made” and “Made in China”.

Please note that the language of the event will be in English, Chinese with consecutive translation.
