swissnex China has the honour of inviting you to participate the annual “Swiss Universities All Alumni” on October 31st.  During the event, you will have opportunities to meet Swiss and Chinese alumni who have studied in Switzerland and to interact with experts about new and interesting news of the year.

This year, a new trend comes to the topic of China-Switzerland Free Trade Agreement (FTA) as well as the new implementation of Shanghai Free Trade Zone (FTZ). The discussion will focus on the theme of innovation:
“ FTA? FTZ? The impact of Innovation to free trade models, views from Switzerland and China” 
The speeches will be followed by a Q&A session and a cocktail reception. Special Halloween decoration is waiting for you!

Main Speakers

Prof. Georges Haour, IMD 

Georges Haour is Professor at IMD in the area of innovation management and technology commercialisation. He is an adviser to firms & organisations on effective R&D/innovation management for competitiveness and growth, mostly in the healthcare sector and a strong interest in Innovation in China.
He has 8 patents, 90 publications and three books on innovation and technology commercialization.

Dr. Yejing Huang , Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences

 A scholar of international economics with substantial academic background in the fields of international trade and finance, Dr. Huang is a senior research fellow of Institute of World Economy, Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences (SASS).
Dr. Huang leads and participates in lots of theoretical and policy consultation research projects covering issues of FDI promotion policy, industry innovation capacity building and domestic industries restructuring, as well as very extensive fieldwork experience.
Now she is a member of Expert Committee of International Service Outsourcing under Ministry of Commerce in China.
