Hydronet was conceived as a co-operation between Swiss water engineering KWI corporation and Swiss academic partners - including Dübendorf EAWAG, a well known water reasearch institute.
HuaJiang Goup in Dongguan is participating the Hydronet project. As one of the most modern factories in footwear HuaJiang operates its own tannery, which requires a treatment up-grade due to increasing production.
To save our planets water resources, Hydronet's main goal is a high rate of possible reuse of water resources. Furthermore the project aspires high efficiency, small dimension and flexibility. Waste water treatment plants can be designed in a more flexible and modular way, which is useful for fast growing cities and townships.
